Happy Easter everyone! I hope you all had a great day at church and a great time with family and friends. We had a big day planned for today, Fusion Church in the morning, lunch with friends, then off to Buckhead Church for their evening service. Well, lets just say things didn’t go as planned. Ella came down with a fever yesterday afternoon (and still now has one), therefore, I didn’t get to go to church today. I am pretty bummed about it because this was the last time we were going to get to go to church together as a family for a while and it was Easter and I really wanted to go. Yes, we go to church every Sunday but when Adam works at a church we never ride together, sit together..etc., you get the point. However, with permission from our friends to bring our sick daughter, we did still get to enjoy a delicious lunch with friends. The lunch included one of my favorite dishes, Apple Snicker Salad, now you might be thinking is it possible to call something a salad and have Snickers in it..YES! If you haven’t ever enjoyed this, you are really missing out. Here is a run down of the delicious food we had for lunch.
ham, corn, green bean cassarole, mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, rolls and apple snicker salad (I think I missed something)
For dessert we had cheesecake, chocolate cake and chocolate covered strawberries…yum!
So now I’m skipping dinner because I’m still full!
