Just yesterday we found out the contract on our house fell through. It’s been “under contract” for almost 2 months and now we find out the sellers financing isn’t going through…frustrating. I can’t figure out why, yet again, I feel like we got the bad end of the deal. We have now had a for sale sign in the yard for exactly one year. That house has caused us more trouble financially than I could have ever imagined. We’re learning a lot, we’re learning to trust God and know his plan is always better than ours. But it’s hard. It’s hard to imagine that God’ plan is for us to be sinking financially. The thing is God knows what he’s doing, yes we may be financially sinking but he has been providing and will continue to provide. He will bring us through this.
I received the below email earlier today and wanted to share.
God Will Provide. I know God will work on their behalf. This morning I read in my devotions that “God longs to be gracious and show compassion to us”. The devotion brought out an interesting point…Why does it say “He longs to…” Why doesn’t He just do it? It went on to say that God is perfecting us and working through our circumstances to bring us into His way of thinking. All the while, He desires that we (as Beth Moore says it) are filled to the measure with the fullness of Him. Please let them know we are praying. 
He doesn’t always lift the veil and let us see His grace and mercy being bestowed until the time is right. Then all becomes clear but in the mean time, we learn to trust.
