Ella and I are sitting on the back deck at a very small patio table. The table is only big enough for two people. Ella is sitting in one chair and I’m in the other. She motions for me to scoot her forward because she wants to be closer to the table, so I do. Then she proceeds to fold her hands and lay her forehead on the table. I was thinking…”what is she doing”, then she looks at me, takes my hands and folds them together because obviously I was supposed to be copying her..:) Anyway, after a few moments I realized what she was doing, she thought it was time to pray, I couldn’t even believe it. So, as I’m sitting taking this all in I folded my hands, bowed my head and said a prayer, she followed along with her hands folded and forehead resting on the table.

It was absolutely amazing.

Gretchen that is so precious! Coolest story ever. It must be so fun to see her turning into such a cool little person. :) Glad you shared this story!
