So it’s been a while since I’ve blogged but this past week I just never felt like I had anything exciting to say nor did I feel like taking the time to think of something…

Here is a little run down of my thoughts on this lovely Friday evening.

1. I spent every morning this week at Vacation Bible School. It was fun but my group was a little difficult (always wanting their mom’s) so it made it an interesting week.

2. Ella says “Hello” on a regular basis now and it’s about the cutest thing ever.

3. I’ve been doing some job searching this week and keep coming to dead ends. Where are the jobs in Marion? I never had any trouble finding jobs in Georgia.

4. My knee has been giving me trouble all week so at times it was very painful sitting cross legged or on my knees with the kids at VBS all week. Finally today it feels a little better so I’m hoping to get back into running this weekend. Not sure that I will accomplish a marathon because of my bad knees.

5. Adam’s brother, his wife, their son & unborn baby are coming to visit this weekend. It will be nice to see them again. And for the cousins to reunite again. Last time they saw each other Ella was just learning how to play so this time it should be a lot more fun for both of them.

6. We might be going strawberry picking tomorrow. I’m pumped! I hope they are good.

7. I’m getting really anxious to get a place of our own. We decided when our house sells in Georgia we aren’t going to buy a house for a while. We just aren’t ready for the stress of owning a house again right now…too many bad experiences over the past year trying to sell. Marion has a decent amount of rental properties so hopefully we’ll find something good.

8. I just realized I don’t think my husband can go for 5 minutes without singing, listing to a song, talking about music, quizzing me about a song or writing lyrics. His brain is constantly thinking in music language. It’s crazy, but awesome how creative he is.

9. I’m so glad it’s the weekend!

10. My family is coming to visit over the 4th of July and we’re going on a mini vacation somewhere, I’m pretty excited!
