Today is training day #2 for the marathon. Yesterday we ran/walked for about 30 minutes and today we ran 3 miles. I thought I was going to die. First of all we ran on a track so it was boring and then right when we went out for our jog it got really hot and muggy and on top of that I am so out of shape. We should have started off running 1 mile, not 3! I really haven’t ran much since before I was pregnant. I’m hoping to talk Adam into running a half marathon instead of a whole one, we just don’t have enough time to prepare for 26.2 miles!!!
My legs hate me right now but overall I have a lot more energy so I actually feel really good. Whether we run the marathon or not, I cannot let myself fall into the trap of never exercising like I have the past two months. I sleep better, feel better, have more energy and eat better…so there!
