Adam goes to “cowboy weekend” every fall with his friends. They all dress up like cowboys, go hunting and make delicious food. This year he came back with a new recipe for us, Taco Chili. We made it last week and it was tasty. Here is the recipe below. Now understand I just threw most of this stuff in the pot so it’s hard for me to get you exact measurements but I’ll try.
Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1 green pepper (diced)
1/2 onion (diced)
1 can black beans
1 can corn (drained)
1 can chili beans
1 packet taco seasoning
3 tomatoes (diced) or a can of tomoatoes
tortilla chips
mexican cheese
1. brown beef & drain fat
2. add onions and green pepper - cook for a few minutes to make a little tender
3. add black beans, corn, chili beans, taco seasoning and tomatoes
4. simmer for 10-20 minutes or until everything is cooked
5. serve with tortilla chips and mexican cheese
